Where's the best vantage point to watch the Christmas Pageant?

There are a few good spots, my preferance is at the start of the pagent, easier to handle the impatience kids!!! There are a few stands around the pagent run not too sure if you have to pay but might have to get there very early!!! A few buildings around the root have balconies so if you approach those business you might be in with a chance. The Southern Cross has a nice balcony. The root has changed a little this year too
