Amaroo is a good area for young families who can afford it. The price of housing ranges from the low 400s to the mid 700s. It is considered to be one of the safest suburbs in the Canberra area according to community statistics. It is an affluent area which would be a perfect place to raise a family especially because of its community mindedness. It also has ample green spaces where you can enjoy the great outdoors.
