Most plants found in West Australian gardens will suite the Baldivis area. Some people love the English garden look, some prefer native plants and others prefer a more tropical garden All styles of plants can be seen in gardens in Baldivis and all tend to grow well. It really does depend on the area you decide to live, some areas are shady and other a little less established so may be in direct sunlight. Also the reason I say it depends on the area of Baldivis as to the type of plants is because there may be restrictions as to clearing of the land etc to make way for planting if you are on a larger block, as the local council prefers a percentage of the land to keep existing native trees/plants for flora and fauna purposes! Also parts of Baldivis which are elevated may have difficulty gaining access to bore water so be mindful of this and plant drought resistant plants otherwise it will cost you a small fortune in water bills!! Hope this helps :)
