This question popped up in Belmont, so I will answer for that area. The short answer is - no. But, Midland is 15 mins away and there is a Farmers Market there that is very down to earth, or some might say basic. The farmers come along and back up their truck and basically sell like the old fruiterers used to - some actually yell out '$3 a kilo!" or whatever! You don't really see that anywhere any more. It is near the Old Library and you can park at the Woolworths opposite the railway station and just walk over the road to the markets. they go from early to about 3pm, but best to get there early as not much left by the afternoon.
