Anyone know of cheap places to park in the city?

The other day my friend was working in the city and it cost him $32 for 4 hours. Could not believe the cost of parking in the city. Does anyone know anywhere that has cheap rates or specials in the city? Maybe a car space that could be leased for 12 months?

Depending on which end of town you work in - there are cheaper car parks at Southbank - under the Art Gallery being one. Then you just walk over the bridge.
There are some on-street parking meters near the Sofitel Hotel which are about $4 an hour.
There are some long-term rentals available in Spring Hill but I'm not sure how you find out about them.

I agree with the above, the best place to park is Southbank and then just walk over the bridge, it might take an extra 15mins, but it beats paying the amount you stated above. Plus you get your daily exercise of walking ;)

Try parking illegally, go to work, after work (8hrs) pay the fine, drive away, this often works-out cheaper. CHEERS JUST JOKING, REALLY
