Which suburbs are close to city and cheap?

Hi,

I have been looking at realestate.com.au. However, need some advise on the which suburbs are relatively close to city (less than 1hour travelling by car or train).

Is it possible to rent a place with at least 1 bedroom with maximum of $200 weekly rent?

Thanks for replying.

You could probably walk from Clayfield to the city within 1 hour (Might be a fast walk or jog). Trains will get you there in 10-20 min...

Ipswich is probably over 1 hour in peak hour traffic and on the train would be approx 54 min + a little for delays...

Also check out Inala, Durack and Oxley area. 20 minutes to the city and will match your price.

Springfield is a great place to live, 30-45mins drive to city and 1hr to Gold Coast. Great place, lots of shops etc. you would be able to find something there. Brookwater/Augustine Heights is nice there but there’s a lot of other nice places in Springfield :)
