You can travel from Brisbane CBD via train passing through the northern suburbs to Caboolture and then you can get a bus to Bribie, I think you may also be able to get a direct bus from Brisbane but sorry am not sure on that one. Google Translink website and put in Journey Planner, type in your departure point and your destination and it should calculate the best route for you and show you the cost. A Go Card is the best way to travel if you intend to travel regularly
