Looking for advice on best suburbs to move to

Ill be moving down to Brisbane in January. Im in my mid-twenties, single, have an energetic dog, so close to good parks or maybe walking trails. Would love to ditch the car for the most part so decent public transport would be good. Also only have one income so I cant afford anything super pricey. Anyone have suggestions on some suburbs that would suit this lifestyle without breaking the bank?
