Young family with kids moving to Bundall

We are thinking to move to Bundall from Sydney early next year. We have 3 boys, age 7, 5 and 1. Is Bundall is a nice area to live for young family with kids? We are considering to put kids in Surfers Paradise state school, is it a good school? My husband will probably working in Brisbane, hopefully the traffic is good too. How about GP, hospital and shopping in Bundall?
Thank you in advance!

Hi Jennifer,
I have been selling real estate in the Bundall and Benowa area for 18 years. I can say with confidence that it would be a good choice for you and your family. I have lived in the area for 18 years and our office is based at Sorrento Shopping Village (Bundall)

Part of Bundall is known by the locals as Sorrento, it is a “vanity” suburb of Bundall. The post office does not recognise Sorrento as a suburb, but the real estate sites do, so when you are doing your searches, put in Sorrento as well as Bundall. (all homes south of Ashmore Road in Bundall are classed as Sorrento)
Benowa the neighbouring suburb is also a great place to raise a family. It also has a vanity Suburb, Benowa Waters. All homes south of Ashmore Road in Benowa are classed as Benowa Waters. Which also has excellent school choices.

As an interstate buyer moving to the Gold Coast and not knowing the suburbs it can be quite daunting. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, I would be happy to assist you.
Kind regards
