Any suggestions for best Chinese food in Doncaster? Plume has closed after 27 years!
We loved Plume Chinese Restaurant in Doncaster, they just announced that they are closing after 27 years due to end of lease. Does anyone have any other suggestions for best Chinese food in the Doncaster area? Does anyone have good things to say about China Bar in Doncaster?

We have had great success with Mister K. They cater to gluten friendly/coeliac. Lots of variety. They are located on Blackburn Road (261 Blackburn Rd, Doncaster East VIC 3109)

I'd go just up the road to Box Hill... Dumpling King has the best roast duck I've had in a while, and there are plenty of cheap and cheerful places on Station Street. There's another particularly nice place further up Whitehorse Rd, opposite the Police station (not sure what that one is called though!).
China Bar is ok - not sure how it compares to Plume, never went there! - but I wouldn't say it's anything special. I've had better meals at some of the cheaper places up the road!
