It very safe, nice people, lots of families. Prices in the 'old Glenfield' have skyrocketed which is good for us owning a house there. Personally I prefer this side of glenfield as the land size is bigger, there's more room to move and it's close to the local shops - Glenquarie. The local schools Glenwood and Glenfield Primary are both great little schools with good reputations. There are no public high schools in the suburb but the local one in Macquarie Fields - James Meehan doesn't have the best reputation but seems to be improving. Holsworthy high school seems like a good choice. There's also Hurlstone however that is selective. Glenfield in 45 minutes drive from the CBD on the m5. I have grown up in this area and am now raising my kids here. I love the people and the value just keeps going up!
