Mortgage Brokers vs DIY finance search

Hi All

I'm looking at buying my first home and, while I have been doing lots of research on different mortgage options, should I be getting a professional to do this? Obviously, buying a house is a huge commitment so I want to make sure that I get as much information as possible. Can going to a mortgage broker really get me more information and a better deal or am I better off contacting banks/credit unions directly to see what they can offer me? If anyone does know of any good mortgage brokers, let me know.

Hi, I work for Aussie Home Loans. There are many good reasons to use a mortgage broker, rather than D.I.Y.
Here at Aussie, we deal with over 16 different lenders & we have access to all of the same rates & offers that the banks have.
The difference is that we have computer software that brings up on the spot all of the best deals available, (similar to Flight Centre when they bring up the best Airline fights in order). We do not charge our clients any fees, we do not work bank hours so you can call us after hours, we are happy to come to your home after hours and we work for you not the banks. So instead of going to bank after bank answering the same questions over and over again, we can provide the best home loan for you on the spot.
If I can assist you in any way, please do not hesitate to call me. Ian Cassillis Aussie Home Loans 0755199866 or 0403400637

Hi Rosyelk, I agree with Ian and would suggest using a mortgage broker. Mortgage brokers have access to a much wider range of lenders which gives you many more options to help with financing your home. A few other advantages to using a mortgage broker include

1. Most brokers provide free services (as they are paid by the banks)
2. You can leverage their credit expertise and find lenders that suit your situation to prevent your home loan from being declined
3. Mortgage brokers help you take care of the paperwork
4. You can get higher discounts using a mortgage broker as we see hundreds of home buyers each year we have strong negotiating power with the banks.

We'd be more than happy to chat and see if we can help, for more info have a look at our site - https://www.huntergalloway.com.au/mortgage-broker-brisbane/

In Short; a Mortgage broker will be able to compare multiple loans for you and save you the run around.

Most brokers will have great insights in terms of every banks policy and save the heart ache of applying for a loan only to get a decline.
