recommendations for places to rent near Brisbane close to beach and with good schools?

Me and my family are looking to relocate from the UK to the Gold Coast and we have been looking at places, one that came up is the Helensvale area is this any good? if not we would love some recommendations! We have a 7 year old son who would need a good primary school to go to and we also have a 6 month baby so any childcare recommendations would be great? we love the beach due to the fact we have lots on our coast in the north of the UK ( however very cold) so we would like to keep this being one of the selling points to where we move. Any help or suggestions would be great.
