King Street, Melbourne (CBD), VIC 3000

I stayed on King Street a few times on visits to Melbourne. There are a number of hotels in the area and its an easy walk to Spencer Street Station.

With Spencer Street Station so close it makes getting the airport shuttle really very easy.

King street has a number of smaller shops and runs down to the river and Melbourne Aquarium making it an ideal location. However, being central city and close to the main train station it can be a bit noisy at times. Where King Street meets Flinders street it feels a little unsafe as there are overpasses, narrow footpaths and heavy traffic.

It is a perfect location for single who want to make the most of Melbourne's nightlife.
