Oh god, it's getting cold
I've been watching a lot of DVD's but i miss the outdoors and sun already, and with winter almost here, I can feel the long windy nights coming. Any suggestions to keep the long winter Port Melb blues at bay?

I actually love the cold, I find it refreshing! I go for runs along beaconsfield parade along the beach, and up Pickles St in the mornings. Sure it's cold, but that just gets me more motivated.

Keeping warm by the beach? Good luck! DVD, soup and a warm heater is your best bet. And you are a braver man than me Goku, running in this cold weather? Not for me.
it was pretty cold and windy on the weekend, but I find a good warm coffee solves that problem!
I love Summer but this Summer in Victoria was very depressing with the devastating fires that the heat wave caused, so I'm kinda looking forward to some cool weather for once. As the Greeks say cold weather is made for two.........
arrrhhhhh...THE COLD IS BACK!!!!! The past two days have been almost unbearable. How do the people in windy suburbs cope?
DArgy yes cold is nice after such blistering summer, but my heater broke two nights ago, so it was like my house was an igloo! Heater is fixed now, so all good and back to normal, but I'm not a big fan of such low temperatures. I'm feeling colder just writing this :)

I know a few people going to Europe to escape the winter here and I'm soooo jealous.......I just hope no-one comes across the swine flu.......
And once again, it is FREEZING in Port Melbourne. But I think the worst of it is over :) I'm giving my heater a very good workout this year.
Creatineboy how are you coping this year with the weather in Port Melbourne? It's my first winter here, so yes it's cold, but it's not as bad as I thought.
