Which are the good areas in Quakers Hill to buy our first home?

People generally consider the 'newer' side to be the better side. That is anything on the side of the tracks with the police station. That includes any street stemming from Quakers Hill Parkway or close to Schofields or The Ponds. We live on the 'nice' side... but.... we are considering moving to 'the other side of the tracks'. The blocks are much bigger and you get more value for your money. Housing developments in Doonside, Stonecutter's Ridge, The Ponds and Schofields will increase the price and the stigma between the 'sides' will dissappear. Quakers Hill is a really nice suburb which is affordable and family friendly. Either side is fantastic if you can afford it.

Anything within 1km of Quakers Hill Public School has been safe and sound for more than 25 years, and is the best value for money, because you get the best school, plus Quakers Hill train station, that's at a walking distance. It's best value for money area within Quakers Hill.

We live for 8 years in the "old side" of Quakers Hill. I will never consider to move to The Ponds or any other new suburb with 350 m2 block. Here we have great schools, good shops, friendly people, no housing commissions. Most of the people own their homes so this will give the suburb more stability and safer look. Great family suburb.
