What is the property market doing?

This is just a thread to see what different people think the market is doing. I would be interested in knowing where do you think the market is heading. I hope that we can have a discussion where we exchange ideas and if we disagree, time always tells :)
Geography always changes what the market does, so i am interested to know what different members of the public, and different agents, mortgage brokers have to say about this.
