Does Redbank Plains still have issues with odour from the tip and compost mulching facilities.

We are interstate and considering moving to QLD. There is a block in Kirton st that we are interested in. It backs on to 6 Mile creek. We want to know if the creek is free flowing or if it is stagnant and smelly, or used as a rubbish dump. We have read reviews that there is issues with air quality and the pong from the tip and the compost/mulching facility.
Would very much appreciate residents opinions
