Are there noisy neighbours or hoon cars in the Gilbank Street area in Reservoir?

I am currently looking at a rental home in the Gilbank Street area. Looked a little rough. Should I be worried about noisy neighbours and hoon cars?

The house is at the end away from Gilbert Road, but the houses next to it look uncared for. One or two rough cars, lawns not mown, generally looks rough. I BADLY need a quiet place to live (due to work hours) and while the house scored ticks throughout (from my mental checklist), there were a few crosses... including doubts about some of the neighbouring houses.

I don't care what the houses look like, it is more the worry that they are lived in by people who don't have community respect or who don't care about their fellow neighbours. I don't want to have to be calling the police every second night.
My work hours are long and sleep is precious. So is my health :-)
Would love to receive genuine feedback. Thanks

Gilbank street is ok. Mostly elderly and families around there. But if you don't feel comfortable maybe try speak to some neighbours. Best way of finding out what your asking. I'd live on Gilbank any day. Very convenient position.
