Is Victoria Gardens shopping center going to expand?

I'm getting a little sick of the lack of variety of shops in the complex. It seems like they are just add on shops to the massive Ikea.

I do know they are building ALOT of new offices in the immediate area, so it wouldnt suprise me that they would need alot mroe shops to cater for the large increase in people working in the area.

They have removed all the buildings across from the Victoria Gardens centre on Burnley St, Victoria St and also between the main building / centre and 600 Victoria st!.

They are definitely going to expand IMO. Besides, Vic Gardens is pretty mediocre (re: shopping and food court) at the moment. Lets see what they will come up with :)

Cinema is great!

I think the new expansion both on Victoria St and out between the river and Fitness First is going to be new office buildings... I hope not because that just means the lines for coffee in the morning will be longer.

Hey tommytoy,

Three years on and still no expansion in the shopping center YET there has been significant expansion around the area in terms of offices. AND three years on the food court is still as boring as ever - still no pasta bar :( And all i want is a good lasagne at lunchtime...
