"Christmas In The Air!"

Great quiet street that comes alive and becomes the centre of attraction during the Christmas Period due to the amazing residents who do a terrific job of putting up some of the best Christmas lights in the area.

"Great street and area, especially at Christmas"

We have been in the street for just over 2 years and have seen it transform from a normal street to unfortunately having planning approval for units (x3) on 1 block and 4 other blocks having 2 units. This is the only downside on what is a street that has a fantastic feel as far as a sense of community and great neighbours looking out for each other.
Christmas time is a fun time for us all, with more than half the street lighting up in one way or another. This is the only time traffic is busy and we certainly welcome people to look at the displays, which all the residents try to add to, to make it better each year.
The only real downside is the lack of broadband to the street, but that is something that is comon to the whole of Point Cook and we have learned to live with slow dial up or wireless since we moved into the area, having been previously spoilt with ADSL.
The street is full of people from various walks of life and all get along famously, as you would expect from a street such as ours.
With the Town Centre nearby the option of dining out has improved over the last 2 years with the addition of new restaurants with various dining options from the food court to alfresco eating at 1 of at least 8 restaurants.
The new addition to the Sanctuary Lakes Shopping Centre with another Aldi, Kmart and more restaurants and cafes is great.

"A great place for people to call home"

Santander Crescent carries a great friendly and family atmosphere. The lights on the houses at Xmas are there with the best and getting better every year.
Plenty of places to walk and exercise and great access to schools, child care and shops.
Like a fine wine Santander is maturing, developing and getting better with age.

This quiet street is so beautiful during the Christmas time. I have recommended my friends to drive around here to see the Christmas lights.

Rentals in Point Cook

"A great New area"

Along with many others, we built in a new street. Timing was the only problem as many houses still under construction when we built in 2004 and other areas (upwind) under construction therefore we did encounter a lot of soil dust.. But now our street and the one behind is mostly finished.

A quiet street, everyone pleasant and house proud.
Great place to take the dogs for a walk and shopping for domestic needs pretty easy - this is the suburbs... dont expect chic boutiques.

You do hear occcassional car hoons using the vacant areas for showing off, but not too much of an issue and as the area grows,, they will move further away.

A good mix of young and middle age families - not all first home buyers.

Access into the city pretty easy - yes, congest freeway and westgate bridge in peak hours - around 45 mins to get home peal hour, other times 25mins

Beaches close by - Werribee south (village feel and dog friendly) 10 mins, Altona 10 mins, Williamstown 15mins

We have moved overseas, but will eventually move back
