Local council allows the resident to get free rubbish collection or kerb side pick up a few times in a year. Call your local council first to confirm if you are still eligible, and it works well with your time, as you will have to wait for them to come and go.

SITA is great it has changed it's name to Suez.
They have multiple locations across Sydney.
It's effective, if you do have a truck or a trailer to use to carry your rubbish, yet alone the time to do so.

Across Sydney you'll find there is quite a large array of Rubbish Removal Companies, it's worth giving them a try.  I have had an experience  with Mr Cheap Rubbish Removal, they were excellent!
Reasonably priced and professional in the conduct of their service.

There is also a Skip Bin Hire service. This service is highly recommend if you are doing a home renovation or building a new house, as you have to consider the fact that all your rubbish will be very heavy, not worth it to take them to the tip yourself. Do your math at around $350 a tonne. For three tonnes you will be paying over $1.000. With a skip bin company, you are paying half the price as you are paying per cubic metre rate.
