Symonds Place is a narrow street just to the south of Adelaide's CBD, traversing between South Terrace and Halifax Street.

The area has undergone a major development in the last 10 years, and the stylish (and very uniform) townhouses were built. All of the homes here were constructed to the same plan, and have ground level parking, living area and kitchen on level 2 and two bedrooms and a bathroom on level 3. Many of the townhouses sneak views to the Adelaide Hills in the east and the sea in the west.

The location is great - just a stone's throw from the Central Market and Gouger Street, so fresh produce and cheap eats are definitely on the cards here.

This low maintenance apartment style living is definitely best suited to professional couple or singles. The rent in this area is quite high.
