"Intrigued future"
Good facilities and suburb layout with medium capital growth set. Not very safe compared to the Hornsby and Castle Hill areas only slightly higher priced but can you really value your safety.
Not great for
- People and Cars at Westfield
- Cars
"Clearly"
Great area but over priced compared to the upcoming Hornsby Region
Great for
- Convienent for public transport, banks, health and motor insurance offices, motor registry, tax office customer service
- Great Transport
- Lots of shopping
Not great for
- Cost
- Noisey and a lots of traffic.
- Renting and shopping is expensive
"Another setback"
Castle Hill once a vibrant streamline area is set for a distant future as surrounding areas are set to top the capital growth and cash flow scales in the coming years. Sadly Castle Hills developments are currently slow with upgrades including the train line set to be established and... not much else. Hornsby for example is set for a bright investment future, including many development sites and high rises set to push the medium housing costs sky high in 2015 / 2016 and continuing developments and area upgrades making it not only a top area to live in but a promising investment.
Great for
- Free parking at shopping centres
- Lovely People
Not great for
- Not many developments planed after the station to continue its growth
- No train station/ TRAFFIC??
LOL I bet you live in Hornsby and want to sell your house/unit there and worried that CH is charging far ahead of H. That's ok. CH is a crown jewel of NorthWest.
"Hornsby - The New Chatswood"
Soon to be the NEW Chatswood prices are set to soar high in 2015 when the new developments are complete. Real estate will become very competitive around this time as the area has some of the top facilities in Sydney and will also have some of the most modern housing still set in a natural setting close to the beaches and easy access to the city. Thinking of purchasing in Hornsby you almost can't go wrong!
Great for
- Close to everything!
- Fresh air
- Pick the right loction and its quiet and still easy walk to all shoping cetres and rail station.
- Surrounded by national park.

Gay & Lesbian, Hipsters??? Yes, that would be great but maybe in 200 years! Life is short, don't spend it fighting an uphill battle.
Chatswood is the best surburb.
CyrilL Couldn't agree less
Also, tell me where the new houses are I've lived there for 10 years and all I've seen is apartments where are these houses you're talking about?
Hi Chris, North Epping has zero traffic. However if you drive there is traffic on Epping Road/ Carlingford Road/ Beecroft Road/ Blaxland Road, none of which are actually in North Epping because its a dead end. All are avoidable if you can catch a train. And at least from North Epping you can avoid the traffic at the Epping road bridge overpass in the mornings, unlike drivers coming from the western side of Epping station and the Hills District.

One tip: to get out of the suburb in the morning to go West or South, use Essex St. And to go East, use Pembroke St. All too easy! :)

You are sooooooo wrong. They are planning 20 story (and higher) apartments outside the NWRL zone, and obviusly demo existing homes offering v generous prices.
