Fontein Street

"Quiet tree-lined street in a central location to transport and local amenities, what a charm."

Quiet tree lined street in an established neighbourhood. So central location and yet so serene. With a cul de sac at the end of the street, it feels secluded and yet with the local macdonald reserve playground in the street and local supermarket just around the corner, its pretty nice, to be honest. You will see in the late afternoon and evening when young family and elders having a relaxed stroll around the neighbourhood, bike riding and roller bladding. It only took me 5mins to walk to the station and 4 stops to reach city , save me heaps of time travelling to work. Highly recommended.

great street, i have to say.Quiet, little traffic, and so central. Good for you to live there, there is some local permaculture activity which is good for the community too. Enjoy!

Footscray

"The last remaining inner city suburb to go up!"

West footscray has the big traditional blocks of land, beautiful tree-lined streets, well serviced by public transport/ local amenities, at the same time also walking distance to the ever popular footscray city centre, whats not to like?
Its eclectic culture around the area is very attractive, and its definitely a great area for people who enjoy proximity to the city(7km), at the same time having that piece of quietness in the suburbs.
It is still abit undervalued, but soon it will be well-discovered!
