Slacks Creek

"Convenient location"

Im going to add my general opinion on the "current" state of Slacks Creek, according to recent logan property charts Slacks Creek is in the top 5 of "most likely to experience high growth" suburbs. Some reasons for this is its position, close to the M1 which is still being upgraded and convenient access to many shops\facilities including the new IKEA.

Some investors are purchasing property in the area as there is "steady" growth in regards to "capital gains". In my overall opinion I think the area is doing much better than recent times and will continue to grow according to the "current" property trends. However keep a close eye also on Springwood and Daisy Hill as they are high contenders of Slacks Creek.

Woodridge

"Woodridge is changing for the better"

I can see where peope are coming from when they put Woodridge down because you do hear the odd news about an act of violence. But you can't put a label on the suburb as every suburb has its bad streets and bad people!!.

What I can say is I see alot of changes in the area, and the location is very convenient for a lot of different types of people. The catholic school in the area is awsome, its full of the nicest people and the church is also brilliant.

The suburb has had a bad label on it for a while but I can see changes happening and as Logan City starts to boom in the future it will only become better and a great place for investors is soon coming so keep your eyes peeled.

"Very expensive..."

Considering the area is so expensive, I don't think the area is affordable for most people.

Cleveland

"Nice environement, very safe"

The one feeling you have when you go into clevelend is a really safe feeling and the smell of fresh sea breeze which comes through all year around.

Fairly affordable as the suburb is out a lot more from Brisbane City but a very beautiful clean area. One major plus is the fact that you don't have to worry about traffic, once you get closer to Brisbane City you will.

Mount Gravatt

"Close to everything"

Mount Gravatt really is in the heart of everything you need, similar to Holland Park which is experiencing exeptional growth right now.

A pleasent area however traffic can get a little overwhelming with so many people commuting through the area each day. Overall a very trendy and nice place to rent and if you can afford buy a place and reap the rewards of the steady capital gains.

Browns Plains

"Not that good these days"

I have friends which live in the area and im experessing my opinion based on what I have seen and what the locals have told me about this area.

During the day the area seems very nice, but at night after 8pm HOONS everywhere every weekend and week nights, and it seems like in the early hours of the morning you always some drunken idiots having a domestic out the front of their houses and making a general nucience.

Apart from this the shops and easy access to transport is definatly a high point for the area.

Brisbane (CBD)

"Not so affordable anymore"

Hello everyone :)

I would like to start of saying that I think Brisbane in general has loads of facilities and things to do on weekends whether it be going out for a nice dinner or hanging out in South Bank.

Nightlife being a great aspect with so much to see and do, I found that growing up around Brisbane was a safe nice place to live.
