Mount Druitt

"Surprisingly felt safe"

I live south of Mt Druitt and as it is the closest train station to my house, I caught the train regularly to my retail job in the city. Some nights I would finish work at 9, meaning I would be getting off the train around 10:30/11 on a Thursday night. I never had an issue, and I caught the train 5 days a week for a year from here.

Even times when I had to walk past groups of people late at night, I was so scared at first, but they simply pass you by. The city is actually more frightening at night than Mt Druitt.
