"I bought an investment townhouse here in 2015"

I bought a 3 bedroom townhouse here a few years ago because of the closeness of the train station. Prices fell about $15k at the lowest for a few years until 2020 but the rental yield was high. Now that the suburb is filling up prices are on the rise along with rents. The number of shops and restaurants within walking distance is ever increasing and we have never had more than 1 week without tenants ( all have been really good- touch wood). I am making a good return for this investment.

Hi, I'm from Melbourne and my husband & I are considering moving up to Brisbane, but are unsure of which suburbs are appropriate. We're in our 30's, no kids (but planning to!), I'm a nurse & studying to be paramedic & hubby is in logistics. We are sick of the constant lockdowns, the weather, traffic, growing population & lifestyle (or lack thereof). We want a new change involving a relaxed lifestyle in a hot/humid climate with lots to do! Big bugs and animals don't worry me, it's people that do :|
Hubby's brothers also live in Brisbane and I know that Parkinson, Calamvale are nice, but what are some other suburbs close-by that don't contain society's "undesirables", low crime, nice parks etc?
