Forest Lake
"Checked out all suburbs to live. Forest Lake won hands down"
I picked Forest Lake out of all suburbs when we cam e over from the U.K. That was 10 years ago. And we're still here! Lots of property choice, from units to lakeside macmansions!
There is so much to do in and around Forest Lake yet it is so easy to jump on the freeway and get down to the Gold Coast. Now with the new train station getting into the city is only a 30 min peaceful ride. Very relaxing not having to sit in a car.
My kids went to the local schools and have progressed on to uni so totally happy there too! Lots of restaurants, a pub and fitness centres. Plus a pool!
All round, very happy with our choice!

- Loads of walks
- Plenty of restaurants
- Lots of trees, parks, bike tracks and places to eat
- Excellent transport services - bus and train
- Handy to all major shopping centres
- So pretty!
- Fantastic Schools
