Point Cook

"Nice Pocket"

I have been living in point cook since 2006 and it has definitely changed alot. It has gotten alot busier, work still needs to be done with infrastructure or better still stop releasing more land. Point Cook is a great area that is close to the cbd and close to the beaches. I do believe the area could look so much better if people would up keep their gardens, a little pride would not go astray. We also need more trendy cafes in the area. But overall great place.

Great for

  • Close the beach
  • Close to the cbd
  • Everything you need within a 5km radius
  • Golf course and lake

Not great for

  • Need more trendy cafes
  • Roads
  • Parts of PC a bit ghetto
  • Very High Fees

Who lives here?

  • Professionals
  • Singles
  • Families with kids
  • Trendy & Stylish
  • Beach Lovers

Hi, looking to move to point cook (around shopping centre) within 3 weeks. looking as houses this weekend, but what areas do you think are worse than others?
We like quiet clean neighbourhoods. too many teenagers usually means problems too, anywhere in the world.

Innisfail, Alamanda & Featherbrook are all nice estates to live in

Hello gdewing ... Definitely concentrate your search for housing in the Innisfail Estate ... I purchased there and I believe it is the best area to live in. So close to everything you could possibly need and wish for ... and it's fully established. So many choices. Good luck.
