We have recently moved to the west after living in inner city Melbourne. The area has plenty to do with Altona beach and Williamstown beach less than 10 minutes drive. Also handy that we are 15 minutes from Port Melb and South Melb. There are lots of cafes in neighbouring suburbs and we're loving the quietness compared to inner city living. The neighbourhood feels safe and everyone keeps to themselves.

My only disappointment is the noise from the planes. Didn't encounter this when we visited the open homes nor across any online research. Some days are worse than others.
