We love tarneit, been here for a year now. Built our own home, not big but an average size. We have nice neighboors and we are really enjoying the community spirit and friendliness of people. The crime rate is really low if compared with other areas, we came from Richmond so definitely much lower here. Have not heard of anyone on our street who has been broken into, there are many new houses going up on un-occupied land so I guess when its really quiet and there are no neighboors, you will get some break ins. We are loving it, plan on going nowhere for the next 50 years! Great shopping and parks for kids, average people and some really wealthy ones, the area is getting really expensive
