Tarneit

"Tarneit - booming suburb!"

Tarneit is multicultural, modern, houses are available on big and small lots, you get what you pay for. Everything is close by, great schools private or goverment, child care, medical centres on every corner, shops, cafes, walking tracks. You really don't miss anything. Yes it is multicultural and all those haters need to move out if they can't handle it. Yes it is a family suburb as you mainly see families living here. A young suburb that has evolved too fast meaning lack of infrastructure and a crowd at the train station but really positives outweigh any slight negatives. This really is the place to be if your after a good family life within half an hour to the city. Crime rate is low compared to other suburbs. I personally have never seen anything after hours, I do live in the older part of Tarneit so I can't talk about every estate as there are over 36,000 residents here but where I live I must say it really is very quiet. Unfortunately prices have skyrocketed in the last 5 years, overall a great suburb which has over 130 people moving into the area each week, this is the fastest growing suburb in Melbourne!

Who lives here?

  • Professionals
  • Families with kids
