Seaford

"A family friendly place to live"

Seaford is a wonderful place to live. It is quiet and family friendly suburb (no traffic).
The house prices are still reasonable. Most of the people living here that we have met are professional couples with a family or retired. One of the best things is that it will never get overpopulated, as the wetlands prevent too much development. We bought here (near Seaford train station) 9 months ago and we are very happy. The beach is stunning and a lot quieter than other beaches on the area. I've lived in lots of other suburbs in Melbourne including Brighton, East Bentleigh and Footscray, and Seaford is by far the best.
Before we purchased here, we had concerns about mosquitos because of the wetlands. However we did research and understand that the council looks after this and sprays every year. We have not noticed any difference in mosquito numbers from any other outer suburb. We've noticed that there are very few flies as well.
