Parkinson

"Peace and Quiet with only the sound of Birds to break the silence"

I've lived here since 2002 and have watched this area grow into a wonderful haven. I love my home and the wonderful walking tracks and duck ponds that surround it.The Ducks are so relaxed that they don't panic when cars approach them on the road.I love the smells of the Australian Bush on my walks. I enjoy the proximity of the city being only a 30min drive . It's a good drive to work in the city and great to arrive home to Parkinson after a long day at work.

Great for

  • Well planned quiet neighbourhood with consistent growth.
  • Good medical centers/schools
  • Great parks for children and dogs

Not great for

  • Bus is only form of public transport-30-40mins to CBD(there is a direct line to Griffith Uni campus at Nathan)
  • Traffic calming prevents bus from entering many streets other than main roads(the price for peace)
  • Need to travel outside Parkinson for most cultural activities

Who lives here?

  • Professionals
  • Singles
  • Families with kids
  • Retirees
  • Country Lovers
  • Trendy & Stylish
