North Lakes

"High density housing"

Houses are packed in so closely that if you have windows open you can hear the neighbours conversation. Streets are so narrow its difficult for visitor parking. High density =high profit for developers....Glut of rentals available due to shabbiness and not clean. High rental area with obvious out of town investors.

Great for

  • Aurora Blvd Park is excellent. Love the fenced off dog park.

Not great for

  • Overpriced modern boxes devoid of character.

Amazing find with differing areas in the one sprawling suburb.Check out the top corner pocket abutting North Lakes turn off Lipscombe Road onto Northridge cct.Its quieter with lovely larger blocks and wider streets than neighbouring North Lakes.Great family area, with proffessionals/business owners in my street.Love living here and glad to say I have not had any of the problems mentioned in other reviews neither have my neighbours.

Port Lincoln

"High breakin and car theft."

Car theft and house breakins are a recurring problem in Port Lincoln. Use a steering wheel lock and get a big guard dog, security doors and windows and lights..Dont say you weren't told...Dont walk along the foreshore at night particularly in front of the Tasman or near town jetty its not safe..

Not great for

  • High crime.

Ooh...sad...
Such a beatiful town. Found a beautiful property and would love to move here but now get scared. I have found other reports of high crime rates as well.
