Kareela

"Hidden Nook on Oyster Bay"

We are so lucky to have found Kareela, you could drive through Bates Drive bypassing it without knowing its there. We were lucky to have bought when we did because it has quickly moved out of our price range if we were to try and buy today. It's got a beautiful golf course, Nature reserve, another reserve which links to the golf course with a beautiful creek running through it and large sandstone caves at the top end. The local public school is excellent and our kids are happy going there. Most of the suburb is within walking distance of the school. Kareela Village is new and has everything you need for your day to day shopping. With Miranda 7min away if you need more options. They have also added a number of good restaurants and eating options. It's a green leafy quiet suburb on the bay. You have numerous train stations nearby. Unlike some other suburbs you get to enjoy the bush surrounding with low bushfire risks as it isn't connected to the national park. Most of the homes are on sloping blocks which adds another dimension to the look and feel of the suburb. You won't find two home that look alike which we find appealing.
