Hayes Street

"A great destination"

Hayes Street is only short, however it is worth a vist to experience an ecclectic mix of housing and some great shops. There are waterfront apartments with their own harbour beaches, old style apartments, new apartmenst with city views and the odd house still standing. Shops include a general store, Ta Ta Thai restaurant, Nith Video Repairs and the wonderful Thelma & Louise Cafe next to the Hayes Street Wharf. Bookings are essential on Sunday mornings, ask for a balcony table to enjoy the full dining over water experience. Your host, Wendy will take very good care of you. Come by bus or ferry to enjoy this secret on Sydney Harbour.

Cobbittee St

"A slice of Tasmania in Mosman"

Cobbittee Street is a leafy cul de sac at the southern end of the Balmoral slopes adjoining the Harbour Foreshore walk and enjoying a northerly aspect, with some homes enjoying a water view over Balmoral to Clontarf. It's a friendly street, tightly held by neighbours who appreciate a sense of days gone by.

Rickard Avenue

"Quiet, residential cul de sac street bordering Sirius Cove and Taronga Zoo"

Rickard Avenue is a quiet residential cul de sac with a mix of brand new, renovated and older style homes many bordering the Sirius Cove and harbour foreshore walkway with Taronga Zoo on the cul de sac border. It's a 5 minute walk along a bush track to the Taronga Zoo ferry wharf and then 15 minutes by ferry to Sydneys Circular Quay. We hold an annual street party at Christmas and about 40-50 neighbours attend with their dogs, kids, scootters and prams, bringing their own food and wine for a great Sunday afternoon get together. This year we will try a Christmas in July get together for neighbours as well.
