Hornsby has been on a downward slide for the past 15-20 years and it's getting exponentially worse thanks for poor planning on behalf of the council.
Capital growth wont make up for loss in quality of life, traffic jams, over shadowed by high rises surround by junkies and a total slum town these days
gyrex, this review is not at all helpful as you have not specified why you think Mount Annan is a dangerous suburb for families. For anybody interested in crime statistics of geographical areas in NSW, go to www.bocsar.nsw.gov.au (go to the Camden map and scroll through the different types of crime, Mount Annan has a very good record by the way).

The only crime I have seen or heard about id the Wild Ducks keep defecating on my lawn.......
I'd like you to provide further evidence of the crime you speak of.
Crime is generally low as far as I've known. I've heard of break-ins being the worst but that is again rare, and also common in most areas.

I grew up in Bondi and lived there for 30 years. I moved out because of the constant influx of euro-trash every summer. The beach itself is one of the worst beaches in Sydney. Try the Northern Beaches - so much prettier!!
I couldn't agree more! very true. Living here for almost 10 years and hating it lately.
They are and capital growth is looking very bright for the Hornsby region
