I live in the next suburb over to Mernda & find the people in mernda very different.. lower socioeconomic.

"Wouldn't live anywhere else"
I've lived in Doreen for 10 years now and I'm so appreciative that we live in such a beautiful place. Friendly neighbourhoods, beautiful clean suburb that feels so homely and country but close to ring road and suburbs with big shopping malls etc. I love Doreen. I feel very safe.
Great for
- Safe neighbourhood
- Great mix of young and old that are community spirited
- The existing and planned infrastructure is terrific and eliminates the need to go too far
- Urban development with a distinct country feel
- Good access to parks
- Lovely recreation areas
Not great for
- Yan Yean Rd & Plenty Rd
- Traffic congestion

Please let me know where have you seen bogans because I havent seen one and have been living in Mernda since 2008.
