I work in this suburb, I wasn’t a fan but since working in Prahran dislike it even more. Traffic is horrendous, parking very difficult to get. Then there is the drug addled people on the streets, who beg for money whilst smoking and having their cans of Jim Beam next to them. Chapel St contains deserted shops even the banks are leaving, I just found out NAB branch is closing within the month. Don’t walk around without shoes in parks or side streets you’ll be pricked by a syringe. The most disturbing thing is the stark difference between the haves and the have nots, no middle in this suburb. Avoid at all costs. Not a safe suburb.
