By the prices these pretentious real estate developers are charging you would thing that the area is somewhere safe and nicer looking. Take away the shopping center which is empty most of the time and the place is just a normal looking area which really doesn't justify the exhorbitant prices on the land. It's farm country out here with shanty towns lining the coast and the smell coming into the residential areas on some nights you'd rather be some place else. The infrastructure or lack thereof is not conducive to the growth the area is attempting achieve within the next two years so if you're looking at residing in the area with an intention of driving in to the CBD then you might want to take a drive out here before buying.
