To be honest I do like it in Doreen but it does have a few issues. Doreen is a decent sized area that includes some farming properties on the north east side. The early Doreen residents enjoy rather large properties and leafy streets but Laurimer estate is over valued. The junk food strip is great if you want to put on weight but it’s a real turn off. While a traditional outside mall could have been a great feature, it has been ruined. There is a lot of government housing in Laurimer. This isn’t great either, I understand what the gov is trying to do but tbh I’d rather keep my kids away from the ice heads.

Over plenty road in Mernda Villages I would say has been done a lot better. There is a supermarket and the basic other amenities but it doesn’t feel as tarnished as Doreen. More like Doreen 10 years ago.
