Truganina

"West's Toorak which can boost your lifestyle"

This is probably the best suburb around MELBOURNE specially if both you and your partner / wife work In CBD. I live near the new Rockbank train station and walk to the station every morning (no need to find a car park in the morning). Train station, freeway entrance, Woolworth , cafes, Indian/Asian Supermarket , seven eleven, coles express all are about 2 mins drive from my house.
I hardly see any traffic. It takes only 25 minutes to reach to southern cross.
I find the suburb very safe and friendly.
Anywhere else You cant have a brand new 4-5 bedroom house with all this being only 25 kms from CBD. I am very happy being in this part of the Melbourne. Leafy eastern suburbs are nice but I never wanted to downsize living in an old house and didnt want to travel to 40-50 kms every day to work from suburbs like Clyde, officer or far country towns like Pakenham.
Schools are coming and getting better but area has some really great private schools including Westbourne Grammer School. I highly recommend this suburb.

Hi Peter,
Is it worth to invest in this suburb as a first home buyer?

Hello Selena,
My daughter has invested in boutique estate Olivia which is on griegs road and she is planning to build her first home in Victoria. We find Truganina as an abode for growth and amenities. This suburb will probably be the best in next 2 - 3 years, with lots of projects already underway like primary and secondary schools, train stations and Westfield's shopping center. If you are thinking of investing in this suburb than have no doubts that you are investing in the right place and most importantly at the right time. in next 5 years you will make a good equity if you invest here.

Hi Peter,
Is Truganina a good suburb in west Melbourne? As first home buyers we are a bit indecisive between western suburbs or South east like Clyde or far hour away suburbs like officer/Pakenham.

Mick I would suggest to invest in West as the suburbs here are between 25- 30 kms from CBD. These suburbs have a lot of future prospects when it comes to equity on investment and facilities for future living. Clyde, officer or Pakenham are suburbs essentially for 2nd home buyers or investors who are not keen on living there themselves. If you are young professional and travel to CBD for work than you have to stay within 30 Kms radius and Truganina like other western suburbs is more planned, not over crowded, nice touch of multicultural people living, good community spirit, green parks for kids and few dog parks already, streets are wide for 2 cars parked opposite to each other, nice schools and its own Westfield's Shopping center coming soon.

Truganina is the most fast paced growing suburb of the west Melbourne which is only 25 Km's from CBD. I love living in this suburb with open spaces, park lands and nice eat outs with easy access to city with public transport
