Noble Park

"Noble Park, a new resident's perspective"

Moved in this suburb last year...house close to princess highway, closer to Noble Park north..about 1.6 kilometres from train station. Overall experience has been great so far. If you are happy to drive around plenty of shopping and dining options within 10 km radius, Waverley Gardens shopping centre 5 minutes and Parkmore shopping centre about 12 minutes. Dandenong market is great for fresh produce. There is not a lot of movement in the property market in terms of independent houses. A lot of townhouses are being built in the area closer to station. Mordialloc beach is approximately 15 minutes drive. MiXed population, primarily Indian/Srilankan/Italian/Sudanese. In terms of stigma attached to this suburb, I think it has changed a great deal in the past couple of years and will continue to change. Plenty of cops around the train station which adds to the safety feel of the area. Upgraded train station and increased bus services are great addition to the transport facilities. It is a suburb to consider for young families who can't really afford a million dollar home yet!!
