Tarneit

"Get me out of here"

Tarneit moorkyle estate would have to be far the worst estate EVER.
It's loud you can guarantee there will be a part every friday or saturday night.
Everyone lives in there garage even tho there is a redback infestation in the area.
Roads have potholes everywere. New houses are being built in 1-2months.
The list goes on. Im waiting for my lease to expire and then im out of here

Great for

  • New house
  • 30 minutes from city

I would have to highly DISAGREE! I live in the Moorakyle Estate and it is very quiet in my area, neighbours are friendly and we have had no trouble with red backs, i have not spotted any pot holes and never seen a house completed in 1-2 months!

Will and Sarah S- I own in Moorokyle estate and i must say Yes their is Redbacks i had them in my investment properties. It may be quite where you live but i can tell you where my rental properties are it is loud. The crime rate in moorokyle is a lot higher then any other estate in Tarneit.
Also yes there is potholes due to the roads getting fixed up! You also say that you have seen a house completed in 1-2 months will sorry to spoil it but my property is living proof that they go up quick one of my investments was completed in 5-6 weeks.
I have to agree with what you wrote Ryaz11. Im looking at selling my investment properties and buying in point cook as the housing is alot better. I have had nothing but problems with my 2 investment properties.
I guess we all have houses in different parts of Moorokyle. You 2 are just lucky you have the "good" part of moorokyle

New houses being built in 1-2 months isn't a reflection on the suburb, thats the builders.

Tarneit! I have been living here since 2 years now and have fallen in LOVE!
Beautiful Walk Ways
Bike tracks
Ample of parking on street and in shopping centers
Very safe for family (We are a young couple living with 2 senior citizens, they love meeting our neighboring families during the walk at the park)
Some of the parks are very scenic specially the lake at reflections blvd, must visit!
Very friendly neighborhood.
We have heard a lot of news about burglary but none has been witnessed in our neighborhood, fortunately! The African families in our area are very friendly as well, they always say hello with a lovely smile! :)
The house prices are on increase. The local community on facebook are really helpful.
The library is good.
I am unsure about the schools as we dont have kids, but our neighbor's 3 kids love their P9 school.
We have many neighbors who are in various trades, they have been great help whenever some work is required in our house. (electricians, carpenters, packers and movers etc)
Very calm and well maintained streets except a few houses who needs to maintain their front yards!
We have been living in south east before moving to tarneit, but I love living here now. Very peaceful and so close to city & beaches for that weekend spree.
Looking forward for the future stations and road upgrades.
