Been living in KL for over five years, lived in the Hills before that all my life. I have no idea which streets in KL are supposed to be noisy or what he is comparing the noise to. James Cook Drive in front of the local shops during afternoon weekday peak hour is the busiest area, but seriously, it's not like bumper to bumper big city traffic, just local people heading home via the shops, not enough traffic to cause frustration or irritation. My street has 7 homes, four of them have been occupied by the same residents for upward of 30 years with no intention of moving, from experience that says plenty.
I do not know which street you may have lived in simonval but I don't believe you spent too much time really checking out the neighbourhood. I lived in Kings Langley for around 14 years and my daughter lives there now. It is a lovely quiet area and the locals are very friendly. None of the snobbishness of the higher priced places. Love this suburb and would be still living there now if I hadn't moved to Townsville.
Sorry you could not afford to buy here. We have been in Kings Langley for over 25 yrs and have brought up our family here. Looked into moving twice, but after looking around decided to extend and renovate instead. Lovely demographic.
Do not agree a single bit of this! If you want to judge a suburb, you should at least leave there first.
