"Leaps and bounds"
I lived in Macquarie Fields for 10 years. Bought my first house for the price of a unit. Is a blend of public housing tenants and privately owned properties. Some younger teens and adults look troubled but i never felt unsafe walking my dog through Simmos beach or Eucalyptus Drive. Glenquarie is great for grocery shopping. Most of all I miss the quietness if this neighbourhood. Walking to Simmos is so quiet as is the whole neighbourhood. Each time I visit I notice subtle improvements. The council is slowly improving the natural environment there.

This is a review I can second, cause we moved into Stephans lovely house from our apartment in Ashfield - you really did well with the rose garden, especially roses are notorious for being hard to grow!
Good Aussie suburbia, friendly neighbours in the cul de sac who actually say hi.
Big PLUS+ : easy to drive here compared to Inner West and City areas, which makes a huge difference to anxiety levels
