I used to go to the Mekong Thai restaurant in Hindley Street all of the time. They have a fantastic range of dishes at reasonable prices and I really like sitting in the front alfresco area during Spring and Summer, watching the eclectic mix of people go past. There are occasionally some people who try to annoy you or beg for money, but this happens rarely. Also, when you ask for hot, they give you hot!!
