Living in Townsville
Might be moving to townsville later this year with family for work. I have 2 children aged 5yrs and 10yrs. Haven't heard much about townsville (good or bad). anybody got any comments about townsville. Whats it's like for shopping, schools and cost of living in townsville.

Townsville , Although it has nice beachfront areas such as the strand there is quite a big problem at the moment with youths running rampant stealing cars , breaking into houses , if you have to move to Townsvile look at an area called Riverside Gardens in Douglas , it's quite upmarket compared to everywhere else about , rents averaging from $340 for a 3 bedroom house with single garage up to between $370-$470 for a 4 bedroom house with double garage
